Tim Shull
Tim and Tank
Tim Shull, of Spice O Life Retrievers, has a long and happy history with
training hunting retrievers on land and in water environs. He has worked
with the South Jersey Retriever Club, Shrewsbury Retriever Club, Del
Bay Retriever Club, Long Island Field Trial Retriever Club, and Pinelands
Retriever Club through field trial training and testing for 18 separate
AKC licensed events.
He and his wife, Vici, had the honor of participating with their dog, Spice
O Life's Salt and Pepper, in the inaugural AKC Hunt Test Seminar held on
Long Island, New York in 1984. That seminar established the principals
of the AKC hunt test programs in use today.
Tim has also been active with New Jersey Ducks Unlimited (NJDU) for
more than 25 years, having served as area chairman for 19 of those years.
When he is not training hunting retrievers, Tim works as the signing
specialist for Target, but he can also be found helping NJDU raise
"Bucks for Ducks," or hunting out of Newport Landing while hoping not to
get his Boston Whaler stranded by a falling tide.
Tim is now offering hunting retriever training through ACDT. If you own
