Perry and Lakota
Perry's life became entwined with dogs
and training during his 25-year career
as a police officer.
He was a SWAT officer and instructor,
a K-9 handler and trainer, and a firearms
instructor and Sig Sauer Police Armorer.
Perry has competed and won in regional
and national events for police K-9s.
From 2002-2006, he served as president
of the United States Police Canine
Association (USPCA) Region 15.
